The Dam
Bag® is a jute sack that contains small bags
of water absorbing polymer that expand up to 250
times in volume. Once fully expanded the bag will
slowly decrease in size over 30 days. The Dam Bag®
is reusable.

How It Works:

To inflate:
Simply submerge the Dam Bag in water. Bag will
expand to approximately 50 lbs. in 3 to 5 minutes!

Alternatively,
the Dam Bag may be inflated by running water via
a hose etc. Simply lay the bags out where you
want them to be used, and run water on them for
3-5 minutes.
Right before your eyes, your ‘automatic’ barrier
wall will be constructed! No other product like
this exists…

After use:
Multiple methods exist for post use handling:
Natural drying of the Dam Bag. Bag will shrink
about 30-50% of its fully expanded size, and can
be USED AGAIN.
Can be stored up to 5-10 years.
Soak used bag in a 5-10% salt (CaCl) solution,
bag will shrink to original size in about 10-15
minutes and is rendered unusable.
Burn bag at 250°C or bury under ground, bag
is biodegradable and will dissolve naturally.
